19th ANNUAL TCL/TK CONFERENCE 2012

November 12-16, 2012

 

Tutorials and Technical Sessions were held at the National Museum of Health + Medicine Chicago.
Sessions were provided in the Tcl language for experienced users and those just getting to know the Tcl programming language.

The Anatomy of Anatomical Software Development (METC Computer Lab 9th floor, Armour Academic Center) John McNulty (Loyola Univ. Medical Center) & Mike Doyle (President, National Museum of Health + Medicine Chicago) presented.
This workshop was designed to highlight the technical and pedagogical approaches to the development of software applications for anatomy. Attendees gained an appreciation of the steps 'behind the scenes' and had an opportunity to work with the Visible Human database.

 Thank you to all those who joined the Camerata Chicago and internationally renowned pianist George Lepauw for a romantic and memorable evening. Attendees to this Valentine's weekend gala event, "Immortal Beloved & Roses," had a chance to savor gourmet chocolate before experiencing Beethoven's Emperor Piano Concerto, Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony, and Elgar's Introduction & Allegro on an entirely new level.

Proceeds benefitted the National Museum of Health + Medicine Chicago.
